  • Should eponymous adverbs be capitalized? A great many eponymous adjectives are. Indeed, Higham's Handbook of Writing for the Mathematical Sciences (1998, p.41), in reference to eponymous adjectives, states "Words that are derived from a person's name inherit the capitalization", but then cites the commonly accepted (even in dictionaries) abelian.
