My grad school major prof (Paleobotany, Indiana University, University of Florida) is named David Dilcher. Can't see this word without thinking of him, whom I visited with just the other day at a FL Arbor Day celebration in Gainesville. Our publications are listed under Call and Dilcher. First flower, angiosperm paleobotany, and all that.
