  • No problem, gangerh. The term was originally coined as semordnilap, which dates to at latest 1961. By 1985 it was being changed to emordnilap in some contexts (e.g., computer science). A Google search shows that emordnilap is now the more common word.

  • 'pologies, mollusque, for my haste, as it appears there is a semordnilap and the plural of that is semordnilaps. I withdraw my jibe. Until I know better.
