mollusque I just discovered that supervocalic is an older term for this concept. Mar 25, 2008
mollusque Containing each of the five vowels once (adj.); a word that contains each of the five vowels once (noun).
"Euvocalic" is coined here to refer to these words; "eu-" meaning both "true", referring to the true vowels, and "good", referring to a good pattern of vowels. Euvocalics are a subset of panvocalics (which can have repeated vowels) and include euryvocalics (which must also have a "y"). Feb 8, 2008
