  • Found only on the wettest of college campuses, especially mine, frathopping comes from the words 'fraternity' and 'hop' and is used to mean 'moving from one fraternity to another on the same campus in one night, usually drinking, partying, and partaking in other fraternity-related acts. Frathopping is usually undertaken by non-fraternity members, and often by freshman. Frathopping can be an individual act, but it is more often accomplished in small groups, composed of either entirely women or mostly women and a few men. Frathopping is generally a destructive act, which can often lead to vomitting, rape, law enforcement intervention, blackouts, STDs, smelling like a lush, and losing the respect of everyone you know. On the plus side, frathopping can also lead to beer pong, free sex, free, cheap alcohol, and amusing reports in the campus newspaper.
