If you go on iplayer, probably a fifth of the programmes are in Gaelic from BBC Alba, obviously because the broadband connection is so fantastic on a couple of tiny rainswept islands in the outer hebrides.
We blackbirded from the New hebrides and the Line Islands over to the westward, clear through the Louisiades, New Britain, New Ireland, and New Hanover.
If different hands take up the hobbit, there will be noticiable differences...the BAG END hobbit dwelling is key to both stories, and it will not be the same if the movie is shot in the cotswolds and cornwall, and the hebrides and alps...( although it would be closer to old proffesser T's personal experiances )
