manilamac A liche is most simply a dead body. In genre fiction (and I assume other places) it can also mean a zombie. It seems to have very specific meanings in online gaming, but since I'm not into that, I can't help there.I do not believe the word has come into the language from the gameing world, though, because I've encountered it in works written before online gaming became widespread.
