Etymologies
- Formed as mis- (“hatred”) + -andry (“men”) by analogy with misogyny; compare the Ancient Greek μισανδρία (misandria), from μισέω (miseō, "hate") + ἀνήρ (anēr, "man"). (Wiktionary)
