mtc So you might think because the Greek word for Lead is "molybdos," Molybdenum is the name for the chemical element Lead. But no, it turns out Molybdenum (Mo) is a separate element which in the past had often been confused with Lead, (Pb) from the Latin word for Lead, "plumbum."
Lead being toxic, I wonder whether molybdomancers ever developed Lead Poisoning, "plumbism?" Dec 31, 2012
