Ein Normaltier ist ein eher langweiliges Tier. Ein Allerweltstier. Mit vier Beinen und zwei Augen. Keine Normaltiere sind zum Beispiel Elefanten (wegen des Rüssels), Giraffen (wegen des Halses), Nilpferde (wegen ihres Wasserdaseins). Geradezu prototypische Normaltiere sind zum Beispiel Hunde, Katzen, Kaninchen und Pferde.
