Generally appearing in a phrase along the lines of "los acontecimientos de once-m" (the events of March 11th), this is the Spanish equivalent of 9/11. Terrorist bombing of the Atocha train station in Madrid took place on March 11th 2004.Spaniards refer to 9/11 as "once-s".
