  • The Toronto Zoo is using 'pandorable' to describe their pandas. This term seems to be used by other people describing pandas, such as when watching the panda camera at the San Diego zoo. (according to tweets)

    Pandorable was a registered term in 1960 by Pandora Knitwear. so, it would be a combination of Pandora and Adorable.

    First sighting of Pandorable goes back to 1959 to a Minerals and Gems book. It describes a rock (likely a geode) which the owner decided not to cut open. In that case it's a merging of 'pandoras box' and 'adorable'
