    and in Bilby's vein--a Slav couldn't possibly decry slavish pluralization, and madmouth is All Slav (also plenty goggleless in some areas, though not morphology, thanks be)

    Though you are right about 'suffices'; I mistook -ix for -ex.

  • Well 'suffices' is not a Latin plural; the Latin for "suffix" is suffixum. The only possible plural of 'suffix' is 'suffixes': a warning to those who play with Latinity without the goggles of knowledge.
