  • People who sulk when faced with disharmony. Sulkers often "lose their words" and are struck dumb with the effort of forming a coherent thought to express. Emotions fill sulkers, choking off their ability to speak. They feel unable to communicate. Sulkers often need time and solitude to quiet their emotions and collect their thoughts. When a sulker pouts and retreats in silence, they are often viewed by a shouter as running away the a problem; shouters want to settle discord then and there. Sulkers just can't do that.
