  1. two-storied love

Definitions

Century Dictionary and Cyclopedia

  1. Having two stories, and only two, as a house.
  2. In forestry, comprising on the same area two classes, which vary considerably in height, composed of trees of different species. In a two-storied forest the taller trees form the overwood or upper story; the shorter trees form the underwood or lower story. The term is not applicable to forests under reproduction, in which the appearance of two stories is the temporary result of an incomplete process, but to those forests of which the two stories of growth are a natural and permanent feature.
