For the last few years, my Rocky column -- along with Griego's and Johnson's -- ran in the very back of the newspaper, on what I called the op-weather page.
The co-op is not a compromise between supporters and opponents of a public option; it will effectively undermine the option, alienate progressives and fail to appease conservative opponents of reform.
Whatever they call it, a co-op is basically a government run healthcare.
The co-op is not only centered around the production of food, but also on community, with the aid of a community kitchen, open space, picnic areas, child care, fitness center and retail space.

And pretty much they're still at it, which is why people like Dick Cheney and Karl Rove and John Bolton keep popping up on the TV and in op-ed pages.
At this rate the Co-op is once again in danger of becoming a force for good.
If Republicans publicly pressured Obama for years in op-eds and the media to make it standing policy of the US that Chavez be overthrown, then Obama agrees to that, it gets reported in just as many papers as you suspect, then at the very next election you vote in the Kill-Chavez crowd, the results would be equally surprising.
