About

Common words not in any officially recognised scrabble dictionary, including CSW2012.
No need to add variations (plurals etc.), just the base form will do. No words requiring spaces, punctuation or capitalization please. By 'common' I mean at least 10 example usages in wordnik, or over 500000 Google hits.

  • wizofaus Quite a lot of words from my other list http://www.wordnik.com/lists/cycling-terminology aren't in official scrabble dictionaries either - considering the specialist scientific terminology that's probably far less used that is in such dictionaries, I'd argue for them being included too.

  • wizofaus fbharjo, 'flooking' , 'doornik'' and 'scovany' are not common words (wordnik has no examples of their usage), can you please remove.
    chainstay seems to be reasonably common as a cycling term, though I'm a cyclist and can't say I'd heard it until now. I did add 'groupset' though. Jan 17, 2013

  • bilby ‘naughty bilby’ has been looked up 2 times (you're the second!), and is not a valid Scrabble word.

  • ruzuzu I wonder whether we could add naughty bilby to one of the standard dictionaries (I hear pressed bilby ears flatten out to about twice their original size). Jan 16, 2013
