anaisabbzug you know, i used to rather like 'blithely,' but lately i've found it irksome.
'discombobulated' sounds exactly as stupid and bumbling as it should - which i suppose makes it a great word - but the 37% of me that doesn't suffer fools finds it abhorrent.
mandibles i secretly like the sound of, but sadly it reminds me of spiders which make me ill.

palooka Interesting list. Some of these are words I detest also: pustule, fecal, crotch. Some I really like: blithely, discombobulated, mandibles.
