  • Pronounced: (fata roo koo). When a royal blunder takes place among the Sato Gyu clan, they punish the offender with fataluku: removal of one or both hands by sharp object, preferably a sword, like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. The cuttee is left to ponder whether he should cauterize the wound or simply bleed to death for performing such a foul dishonor. A bag of salt is often brought to fataluku ceremony and presented to the victim as a concessionary grace, but only submissives are said to capitulate to its use.
