I must apologise for a mistake: this is a word that I've only ever heard and never seen written so hadn't realised that it's actually in the plural - wochen. I don't think this word is correct and one should use flitterwochen

So while the anglos get a whole month, the Germans only get a week. 'Tinsel-week' is good though.
woche is week - and the only translation I can find for flitter is tinsel
