I'm not sure if menometastasis is related to sympathetic pregnancy. The former, in my mind, recalls studies of female college roommates whose cycles became synchronized, but I may be wrong since I haven't fully researched the term.

I'm not sure whether that would be vicarious. Maybe it's something to do with endometriosis.
Edit: Aha. Century Dictionary has this: "5. Physiology Occurring in or performed by a part of the body not normally associated with a certain function."

Yes, synchronization isn't vicarious. This would be menstruating (or believing oneself to be menstruating) out of sympathy with another. If I ever menstruate I'll come back and add further thoughts.
