Definitely related to breeding.
I'll make it the process through which a child is created naturally by his mother and father, as opposed to any other ways (involving third parties, scientific intervention such as implant, cloning or robotics). Derived from 'parents' and 'genese/genesis'. Widespread in the 23rd century.
