  • Thanks for reminding me of this word, sionnach. :-) So named because they were originally in the former genus Querquedula, which included teals and garganey.

  • Is a white one a Albuquerquedule? (or an oaken one??) to whom would one ateal? Whose O'pintail would prevail?
