  • I think in the Smurfs' usage, it always meant "past tense of any verb the meaning of which is mostly clear from the context of the sentence." Outside of Smurfs' usage, it means past tense of any verb that can't be said in polite company, as 'jeez, did you see that? She smurfed that guy right on the smurf!'
