In my dream I was reading about how monks decide whether people are fit to marry each other. The first deciding factor was "artor" (like ardor, obviously--though in keeping with the monk theme, it could mean "peas" in Swedish (though Mendel was not from Sweden)), the second was tembels (my first thought was temples, but apparently it's an Israeli hat), and I woke up before I could catch the third word.
