ruzuzu Sorry, thtownse. That's a little trick I sometimes like to play on Rush fans. It only works because they are always strangely respectful and earnest--it usually takes a full minute before they tell me I'm full of crap. I'll nod along with them as they work through the process, because, you know, there might be that one song (uh-huh) on "Fly By Night" (yeah) that might have something.... (This is usually when I stop nodding my head and just start singing "Come sail away with meeeeeeee, lads.")
I'm usually a very nice person, but wow--some of the disgusted looks I get are just priceless.

Rush's Xanadu is just yet another rock ditty that draws on classic literature to create a morality play analyzing the balance we must all strive between our reckless desires and the inevitable, disastrous yet unforeseeable consequences of going too far in our quest for immortality.
