    Telofy--How did you know? You must be psychic. :-) That does happen sometimes when we come across a character not mentioned in the dramatis personae. We always have someone dedicated to reading stage directions, so usually that person will step up when something unexpected happens. I did once have them read a play by Peter Handke which had only two parts--we simply took turns in clockwise order around the room. I think the overall effect of that was somehow nonlinear, even within that structure.

  • yarb Yes an excellent list. Personally I think you did well to create a list before ruzuzu could comment on it. I've been a bit slow at creating lists recently and the last few have actully come with pre-comments by ruzuzu. You've got to be pretty snappy to get in ahead of her! Feb 14, 2011

The German Wikipedia article roughly says: “Rautavistics is a form of performance art, whereby actions of no apparent meaning or purpose for the actor or third parties are elevated to an art form.” It may be akin to dadaism—not sure.
