A form of cacogeusia consisting in a metallic taste whenever food or drinks are ingested. It can occur 1-3 days after consumption of pine nuts of the Chinese white pine and for this reason it is also known as Pine Nut Syndrome, or Pine Mouth.

Does it have to be metallic? I ate some pine nuts last Thursday, and now every time I eat something it tastes bitter--but just bitter.
