I want an adjective for "betray". 'Traitorous' is not the exact meaning I am looking for. But something that conveys exactly the meaning as the word 'betraying' as in "a betraying husband", in the sense of being unfaithful. I am thinking of creating the word "betrayous". Any better suggestion?

There's always the reverse dictionary to give a route to similar words.https://wordnik.com/words/betray#relateie perfidious has similar words - unfaithful, disloyal, faithless, perfidy perfidy is more of a 19th century word according to an ngram viewer. If I were to create a new adjective, I'd make it colourful, like dogscoundrel update - double dipper, double dipping dogscoundrel - dirty double dipping dogscoundrel
