Hi alexz, I had this same exact issue on my iPhone4S, and it turns out there was a cache of some kind that was keeping the fix from loading in my mobile browser. Do you know how to clear the browser cache for Android?
When viewing this site on an Android device, I cannot click on the 'examples' section on the small format screen. Instead, the etymologies section opens up above it, or I click on the reverb app link. Screen resolution :960 540 in portrait orientation.
I find that even when I can't delete an unwanted word from the list's page, it's still (sometimes) possible to go to the unwanted word's page and unselect it from the box there (so long as the list is recent enough to show up in the "Add 'unwanted word' to your lists" section).
Yes, list owners haven't had 'full' control of list content for a while. On the other hand, in the spirit of collaboration, you can ask anyone who has added something to delete it. I, for example, could delete the word I added to the list you mentioned. If I wanted to, or was tricked into doing so by a shape-shifting alien impersonating gangerh.
And back in the old days, lists were only open to the list-starter. Hence you will see on a lot of the older lists quite a bit of fro-and-to as suggestions were put to the list owner. You still have the option to make a you-only list when you create a new one.
