sionnach Then there's the decameron, a dirty, dirty particle! Jul 17, 2008
pterodactyl Hah! Yes! Spoton indeed! Jun 20, 2008
bilby Weeeellll, if you're thinking of a subatomic particle, and can't quite remember what it is, and then suddenly it comes to you, even though it's crap ... most probably it's spoton.
There's also ronaldsnicknameisron which is a very insignificant particle. Jun 19, 2008
reesetee Haha! Just discovered this list. Good one, ptero! Jun 19, 2008
pterodactyl Sounds good, bilby. What does it mean? Jun 19, 2008
bilby How about spoton? Jun 19, 2008
Prolagus hahaha yes, it's the only case (I think) when "nobody" is used instead of "anybody". Weird. Jun 14, 2008
bilby That's one thing that I don't get about Italian social norms. If they ring the bell and there's no answer, they'll call out, "There's nobody?"
How can you answer? If you answer "Yes" it's obviously nonsense because there is somebody there, ie. yourself.
And if you answer "No" it appears to agree with the value of the question, ie. "No, nobody here."
I just hide when Italians go plinplon, saves me all the fretting :-< Jun 14, 2008
Prolagus We use it as an onomatopoeia for the sound of doorbells. Jun 14, 2008
pterodactyl I like the sound of plinplon. What does it mean? Jun 14, 2008
Prolagus plinplon, too. But I might be wron. Jun 14, 2008
