gangerh Wow, ptero! I'm delighted and humbled at your adoption. I don't believe there was a Little Miss Different in the Little Miss series, but it sounds as if there ought to have been. Anyway if there wasn't, for me, it reflects the delightful edge that this list employs. Sep 18, 2009
pterodactyl Thanks, gangerh! Sep 18, 2009

arcadia Nice list. I'm expecting and if she's a she, I'll be consulting this list in a few months time.

hereticaneue Wow, I looked at this list yesterday and could have sworn I saw "tympany" on it. Weird. Sep 15, 2009
chained_bear I don't have a name suggestion, unless you wanted to use your inspiration name as a title (Anathema Device)--I do that a lot but I'm partial to titles with colons.
I did want to provide a link on this list to this other list, however. Which isn't the same but perhaps belongs in the same family. I think Anathema Device would approve. :) Sep 15, 2009
pterodactyl As much as I love this list, I can't seem to find a good title for it. Currently it's called "Alternative Names for Baby Girls", which, while descriptive, is hopelessly bland.
Any suggestions, guys? Sep 15, 2009
hereticaneue Nice list.
I once worked with a girl named Tierany (like tyranny). Haha! :) Sep 15, 2009
reesetee Great list! Apr 28, 2008
pterodactyl Thanks, p & P! And palooka, I can't help but imagine your daughters as wan little girls wearing 19th-century party dresses... Apr 28, 2008
Prolagus Suffragette would be "cool". Apr 27, 2008
palooka Very clever ptero! Meet my daughters, Anaesthesia & Oubliette. Apr 27, 2008
