ry I added Legionnaires' disease because it's lexically pretty unique—a possessive medical eponym named for a group rather than an individual—and found that there are a bajillion possessive-eponymic diseases named for their describers/discoverers (which is presumably one reason sionnach disallowed names on x's y.... Anyway, if anyone wants to add them here, go ahead, but there are a lot.
Edit: there is also a metric f***ton of scientific laws, natural phenomena, and logical paradoxes named in this way. The listers at Wikipedia have done this job already. Jan 30, 2013
