BrainyBabe Thank you for the assistance! Dec 23, 2008
reesetee Jennarenn! You've forgotten me already? *sniffs*
BrainyBabe, you can view lists in ascending or descending alphabetical order or in the order they were added. Look for the sort options at the top of each list, just under the title. You can also see the entire list on one screen if you click on "view all," which is just below that. Hope that helps! :-)
And I second chained_bear's point: Don't be dissuaded from making your own list if someone else has already come up with the same or a similar idea. The more the merrier! It's interesting, too, to see the differences among similar-themed lists. Dec 23, 2008
chained_bear BrainyBabe, you can divide lists. Just make a new one and move stuff there, if you want. You could also use tags to organize words on a single list.
Also, as I said on your profile, it doesn't matter if someone else has made a similar list, or even the exact list you wanted to make. You can pillage theirs, they can pillage yours, you can put stuff on yours they wouldn't, etc. Freedom, sistah! It's freedom!
jennarenn, it's reesetee's list, here. BrainyBabe, you are not alone. Dec 23, 2008
whichbe I'm more impressed with her many, amazing paintings posted on Flikkr (take out the space). Dec 23, 2008
qroqqa Can I just say at this point that I've fallen in love with sarahatlee a couple of hours ago purely on the strength of her list choices? Dec 23, 2008
whichbe You folks should learn to use the "more searches" button on the top right. There's a feature called "Search all lists" where you could type in keywords. Dec 23, 2008
jennarenn Ah, you've plunged into the Stages of Wordie Addiction. Anybody remember whose list that is? Dec 23, 2008
BrainyBabe Also, and again this is a general point that I don't know where to put, couldn't a list like this be usefully subdivided (or broken?) into newly minted coinages and words the author just hapens to fancy? Dec 23, 2008
BrainyBabe It is a wonderful list, and a wonderful novel. But I am just getting used to Wordie, having spent a few hours on it today (when I should have been doing other things, natch). How could I have found your list before half-creating my own? And how can I find, e.g., cletter if the lists are long and non-alphabetical? Dec 23, 2008
reesetee Wonderful list. Thanks, sarahatlee. Mar 12, 2007
